General:The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority (AUTHORITY) is seeking reliable suppliers to provide and deliver stone meeting the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Road and Bridge Specifications, latest edition, to the Authorityâs facilities on an as-needed, on-call basis for a period of one year. The successful bidders shall provide stone and delivery services to the Tinker Creek Transfer Station, Salem Transfer Station, Smith Gap Regional Landfill, and the closed Rutrough Road Landfill, ensuring an uninterruptible supply of stone as specified in this Invitation for Bids.Inquiries concerning this request should be directed to: Jeremy Garrett, Director of Operations-Technical Services, via email at jgarrett@rvra.net.
