Conducting Procurement Unit: Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Wildland fire hazard reduction and wildlife habitat restoration by mechanically removing standing live Juniper trees and saplings, using mechanical mastication (Bullhog) This includes approximately 1,584 acres as identified on the attached site map by 157 days from the date of notice-to proceed.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: 157 days from Notice-to-Proceed
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the duration of the contract..
