Summary
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting proposals for Commercial Bi-Parting Garage Door System Replacement . The successful proposer shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, installation services, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, warranties, and other incidentals necessary to provide two (2) complete, fully operational garage door systems in accordance with the requirements of this Scope of Work.
Background
The existing entrance and exit garage doors are commercial-duty, top-hung, top-driven, bi-parting steel doors utilizing bottom guide rollers and OSCO Model GSL bi-parting door operators. Although the original manufacturer of the existing doors is unknown, the current configuration has provided reliable service in a demanding transit maintenance environment for approximately fifty (50) years.

RTA is offering a virtual attendance option for the meeting portion of the pre-proposal conference to accommodate organizations that wish to have multiple team members participate.
Please note that the site visit cannot be conducted virtually. Therefore, we strongly encourage each proposer to have an appropriate representative attend the site visit in person to see the existing doors and site conditions and obtain the information necessary to prepare a complete and accurate proposal.
