Head Start Birth to Five Professional Development Training

The City of Phoenix invites sealed offers for as needed professional development training services for the City of Phoenix Head Start Birth to Fie Program. IF YOU ARE ALREADY ON THE QUALIFIED VENDOR LIST UNDER RFQu-22-EDU-72, YOU DO NOT NEED TO REAPPLY .

The Effective Date of this Service will be upon final signature and recording by the City Clerk’s department.

The Commencement Date of this Service will be upon Phoenix City Council approval or the Effective Date, whichever is later.

The term of this Service will be from December 2, 2026 and will terminate on April 5, 2028 with no options to extend .

Notwithstanding the foregoing, these Services will terminate upon the earliest occurrence: by reaching the end of the term including any extensions exercised, or termination pursuant to the provisions of this solicitation.

Head Start programs prepare America’s most vulnerable young children to succeed in school and in life beyond school. To achieve this, Head Start programs deliver services to children and families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way.

Head Start encompasses Head Start preschool programs, which primarily serve children 3 to 4 years old, and Early Head Start programs for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women. Head Start services are delivered throughout the City of Phoenix which tailor the federal program to the local needs of families in our service area. The City of Phoenix Head Start Birth to Five Program services 2,209 children in total in three service areas.

The Head Start Birth to Five Program has an ongoing need to provide information and professional development opportunities for parents, staff and community partners through professional speakers and trainers. Training events will be provided virtually or in-person.
