Ada County Bulk Fuel Purchase FY27

Project Description: Ada County (“County”) is soliciting for fixed-margin bids for the supply and delivery of bulk gasoline and diesel fuels (hereinafter “Product”) indexed to Oil Price Information Service (“OPIS”) rack pricing for the Boise, Idaho terminal market to various locations throughout the County. Locations include Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Ada County Weed Pest and Mosquito Abatement, Ada County Landfill, Expo Idaho and Ada County Parks and Waterways at Barber Park in the quantities as more fully described in Exhibit A hereto. It is estimated that the County will purchase approximately four hundred eighty thousand (480,000) gallons of fuel in fiscal year 2027. This is a non-exclusive, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) bid. As such, there is no guarantee that any products will actually be purchased to the estimated amounts.
The County intends to make any contract(s) awarded through this solicitation for bids available to other public entities, in accordance with Idaho Code §§ 67-2803(1) and 67-2807. By submitting its bid, the awarded distributor agrees to allow other eligible public entities within the State of Idaho to utilize the awarded contract for the purchase of similar goods or services, subject to the same terms and conditions. Participating public entities must coordinate with the distributor to establish their own separate contract, participating addendum or purchase order with the distributor and are solely responsible for payment and any other obligations arising thereunder.
