The Sources Sought notice is posted by the Government agency seeking possible sources for a project. This notice is not a solicitation for a work or a request for proposal. The purpose of this notice is to identify interested and capable vendors to perform the work described below and to incorporate the results of this notice into the Government's Market Research Report.
This project involves integrating Direct Digital Controls (DDC) into the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems of the Yukon Club (B2225) and Base Supply (B3426). The Yukon Club and Base Supply HVAC systems must be fully connected to DDC systems, building upon existing connections to the HVAC shop's Orca View and Enteliweb front end systems for select units, including mechanical room HVAC units in both buildings, and one kitchen makeup air unit in the Yukon Club. A comprehensive HAZMAT survey is required to identify and manage any potential environmental hazards within both buildings. The contractor is expected to submit intermediate design documents and ultimately produce a complete design based on specified requirements and comments received during the 65%, 95%, and 100% design review meetings.
This information will be utilized to prepare comprehensive drawings, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates for all facets of work and disciplines/trades involved in the construction project. The primary objective is to develop a biddable set of construction documents tailored to address the unique challenges presented by the extreme Arctic conditions at Eielson AFB, AK.
Respond to this notice by emailing the contract administrator Kimberly Graham at kimberly.graham.3@us.af.mil and the contracting officer SrA Christopher Prince at christopher.prince.3@us.af.mil stating your firm's interest in accomplishing this effort.
