JAMES CREEK LIFT STATION AND SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION
HENRY COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA
Sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the
construction of the Jame Creek Lift Station and Sanitary Sewer Extension will be received by Henry
County Water Authority at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/henrycountywaterauthority, until
2:00 PM, local time, on August 6, 2026.
In general, the project will consist of the following major work items:
1. Installation of a new duplex submersible pump station.
2. Installation of approximately 575-feet of 8-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride gravity sewer
pipe.
3. Installation of all sanitary sewer manholes, force mains, and sanitary sewer
appurtenances required for a complete and operable system.
4. Modifications to the existing Rex Road Lift Station submersible pumps.
5. Miscellaneous site work.
The work will be awarded in one Contract.
The Instructions to Bidders, Bid, Contract Agreement, Drawings, Specifications and forms of Bid
Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the

Printed copies of bidding Documents may be obtained from
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/henrycountywaterauthority. Neither Owner nor Engineer
will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding Documents including Addenda, if any, obtained
from sources other than https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/henrycountywaterauthority.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond included in the
Bidding Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as
principal and executed by its surety company, which is licensed to do business in the State of Georgia
and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of
five percent of the Base Bid.
No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid

in response to this Invitation to Bid.
The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond
and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive informalities and to readvertise.
