Cupar Library - Floor Leveling

The Town of Cupar is inviting sealed tenders from qualified and insured roofing contractors to complete flooring and related work at the Cupar Library, located at 219 Stanley Street, Cupar, Saskatchewan.

The successful contractor will be responsible for supplying all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, disposal, travel, and required permits to complete the project. The scope of work includes removing the existing carpet and scraping the floor; filling existing cracks and gaps in the concrete floor with expandable cement caulking; using self-levelling concrete to level the floor throughout, with an average of approximately 1 inch required to cover the floor; removing existing baseboards and casement trims; spraying foam along the edges of exterior walls; and installing new carpet squares.

Contractors must be fully bonded and insured, maintain current WCB coverage, comply with all applicable Saskatchewan occupational health and safety requirements, and provide proof of insurance and WCB coverage. Tender submissions must also include an estimated start date and completion timeline, as well as references for similar projects completed within the past five years.

Each tender must include the total project cost, including applicable taxes; a breakdown of labour and materials; an estimated project schedule; warranty information on workmanship and materials; and confirmation that the outlined scope of work will be completed.

The Town of Cupar reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received and is not obligated to accept the lowest or any tender. The Town may waive any formalities or irregularities where it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
