OSHP - Camera Kits

CONTRACT
See attached (ad hoc) contract solicitation document for specifications, requirements, terms and conditions.  Winning bidder shall execute contract document (items in red will be changed after award). 

SCOPE
The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase of Canon EOS
Rebel T7 EF-S 18-55mm IS II DSLR camera base packages / camera kits,  or equal and associated items for the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

EVALUATION
Bids will be evaluated in accordance with ORC 125.07. In addition, the state will multiply the bid prices by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items.

CONTRACT AWARD
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by
low lot total. The low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit prices by the estimated usage listed
in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items
may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.

DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE
The Bidder may be required to submit descriptive literature of the supplies or services being offered. If requested, the literature will be used in the evaluation process to determine
the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. If not provided as part of the bid response, the Bidder must
provide said literature within five calendar days after request/notification by the Office of Procurement
Services to do so. Failure of the bidder to furnish descriptive literature either as part of their bid response
or within the time specified herein may deem the bidder not responsive.

BRAND NAME OR APPROVED EQUAL SPECIFICATIONS
The products in this solicitation are being
bid as BRAND NAME OR APPROVED EQUAL. For items designated “Brand Name or Approved Equal”
bidders offering alternate items must provide detailed written justification in their bid for each alternate item
offered on how the item offered is equal to the item specified. Based on the written justification provided, the
State will determine if the item offered is equal to the brand name item named and if to issue and “approved”
determination for the item. The decision of the State in this regard shall be final.
