ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by CM Company for the ITD D4 Sublett Maintenance Shed Remodel & New
MHU’s project. Bids will be received, opened, and read aloud by CM Company and the Idaho Department
of Transportation at the CM Company’s Office, located at 431 W. McGregor Dr. Boise, ID 83705 until
Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time.
A pre-bid conference and job walk will be held on Wednesday, March 11th at 11:00 A.M. at the project’s
location.
Bidders and other interested parties are invited to watch the bid opening via Microsoft Teams:

All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished and must be signed by the bidder in pen and ink
with his name and mailing address. All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the
bid package number and project title noted above.
Bids received after the time set for opening shall not be considered and no bidder may withdraw his bid
after the hour set for opening or before award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period
exceeding sixty (60) days.
CM Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, or to accept the bid or bids
deemed to be in the best interest of Idaho Transportation Department.
Each trade package will be treated as a stand-alone bid. Each bid must be marked with the bid package
number outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Firms may submit bids for multiple trade packages, but each
bid must be submitted independently (separate bid envelope). Contractors wishing to submit bids must
hold a current Public Works Contractors License commensurate with the size of the subcontract
amount, unless the subcontract amount is less than $100,000.
Bidders shall be registered in the State of Idaho, in accordance with the Department of Self-Governing
Agencies as a “Contractor” licensed in the State of Idaho, in accordance with provisions of an act known
as “Public Works Contractor’s State License Law, Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code Amended”. The term
“Public Works Contractors” includes the general, sub or specialty contractor.
Before any contract is awarded for the work contemplated herein, CM Company shall conduct such
investigation, as it deems necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low
bidder to perform the type and size of project specified under this contract. Upon request, the bidder shall
submit such information as deemed necessary for such evaluation.
