Notice is hereby given that Washington County will be receiving sealed proposals for “Low Voltage/Data/Access Security” according to the specifications for the new Washington County Public Safety Building. Proposals are to be submitted to the Office of the County Controller mailed or delivered, 95 W Beau Street Suite 430, Washington PA 15301 prior to 11:00AM, Thursday, September 17th, 2026.

Proposals will be promptly opened at the time indicated herein with names only to be read aloud. Late submissions will not be accepted. The RFP titled #091726-LVCOM PSB.5 will be available by written request to the project team highlighted below beginning Tuesday, August 18th 2026.

These proposals shall be for the furnishing and installation of Low Voltage/Communications equipment as specified in Divisions 27 and 28 of the RFP drawings for the new Public Safety. The submitting vendor should be fully qualified, experienced and insured in professionally completing projects of similar scale and scope within their discipline with the ability to adhere to Motorola R56 requirements.

1.    Low Voltage/Communications/Security: Lump Sum Pricing according to the Pricing Form

Owner contacts for the project are as follows and all communications, RFI’s and inquiries should be sent in written or emailed form to all of the below in a single correspondence:
Washington County Owner’s Representative: msgorman@naiburnsscalo.com, the Washington County Project Manager: joseph.bendik@washcopa.gov, and the Washington County Purchasing Team: randy.vankirk@washcopa.gov – dalton.thompson@washcopa.gov. All requests for information/clarification will be due to the project team no later than 11:00AM on September 4th, 2026.

Notices of addenda and any other updates will be posted at the Washington County website for review at www.washingtoncopa.gov/purchasing and distributed to vendors who have expressed interest to the project team.

Washington County will not be held responsible for any incorrect information obtained from any source other than from Washington County and the Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. RFP offers should be fully enforceable with valid pricing for a minimum of 45 days following the bid opening.
