Design, Fabrication, and Erection of a Pre-Engineered Agricultural Building

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests proposals from experienced contractors to design, fabricate, and erect a pre-engineered agricultural building on the Parks and Grounds Annex Property, located at 18511 Central Avenue, Bowie, Maryland. Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4541_Parks_Grounds_Agricultural_Building . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.

Electronic (pdf) proposals will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4541_Parks_Grounds_Agricultural_Building until 12:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any proposals.

A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled at the site on December 11, 2024 at 1 p.m.  Entry to the property is to be accessed from Central Avenue only, next to Ecoasis Garden Center. Do not access the property through the residential neighborhood.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Proposals are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4541_Parks_Grounds_Agricultural_Building prior to 11:00 a.m. on December 18, 2024. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than December 23, 2024, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the solicitation documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
