SUPPLY AND INSTALL GARGE DOOR MOTOR OPENER

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests quotes from qualified and experienced contractors to supply and install a garage door motor opener in the sweeper truck garage, located at the Public Works Department, 16500 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland.

The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Request for Quotes (RFQ).  By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the RFQ.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting, followed by a site visit, is scheduled on  Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:30am, in the Public Works Administration building conference room, located at 16500 Annapolis Road (Public Works Road), Bowie, Maryland. Due to the parameters within the Bid Locker platform, quotes from prospective contractors shall only be accepted through the email account of the individual who registered for the mandatory pre-bid meeting.  No other emails are permitted by the Bid Locker platform to submit a quote for this solicitation.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Quotes are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/6261_Garage_Door_Opener , prior to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026.  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

Quotes shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/6261_Garage_Door_Opener , prior to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents.  All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this RFQ must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.

Prospective bidders that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.

Each bidder or prospective bidder must refer to the Bid Locker website for any available amendments, addenda, cancellations, and additional information regarding this RFQ.
