Engineering Services Relative to Bridge Design - Mellen Street (Bridge 017035)

The City of Bristol is seeking proposals from firms to provide design and prepare complete construction plans and specifications, inclusive of survey, environmental permits and construction administration services, for the replacement of a culvert structure on Mellen Street over an unnamed stream. The selected firm shall demonstrate experience with the State Local Bridge Program and experience working with the Department of Transportation, as well as the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

There will be an opportunity to discuss the project and available materials with City staff on December 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Interested firms are asked to report to Meeting Room 3-1 within Bristol City Hall, located on the third floor at 111 North Main Street, Bristol CT.

Proposal submissions will be accepted by the Purchasing Department, with an office located at 111 North Main Street, Bristol, CT until January 6, 2025 at 11:00 am; submissions received after this date and time will not be considered. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in any submission, to reject any and/or all submissions, and to accept the proposal(s) that in its judgment is in its best interest.  Submissions may be made via email, shared file service, or USB drive; the City does not assume responsibility for failure of submissions to be received by the City by the date and time noted above.
