Bid Due Date
A. Sealed Bids for Cabling at the High School Activity Centers, the new Rosemount
Middle School, and Scott Highland Middle School will be received until 2:00 PM
Central Standard Time (CST) on January 21, 2026.

A. Printed bid binders and pricing shall be sent in a sealed envelope or box, clearly
labeled “Cabling for High School Activity Centers, RMS, and SHMS” and sent to:

Pre-Bid Meeting
A. All Contractors shall attend a pre-bid conference held at the date, time, and location
noted in Section 00 31 13. The Owner shall have the option, in its sole discretion, to
allow for an alternate pre-bid conference if such a request is made. Responses
received from bidders who did not attend a pre-bid conference will be rejected.
B. Bidding documents may be obtained beginning December 19, 2025, by contacting
Edward Heier, Coordinator of Technology for District #196, via email at
Edward.Heier@district196.org
Request for Bid General Information
A. Bids and pricing must be sent in a sealed envelope or box clearly labeled “Cabling
for High School Activity Centers, Rosemount Middle School, and Scott Highland
Middle School” and meet the requirements set forth. A contract will be issued
according to the laws and regulations and determination of the Owner.
B. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and/or waive any informality in
the Bids received and to accept any Bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest
of the Owner.
Intent of Documents
A. It is the intent of these documents to obtain on behalf of ISD #196 for the following:
“Cabling for High School Activity Centers, Rosemount Middle School, and Scott
Highland Middle School.” This specification describes the products and execution
requirements related to furnishing and installing Category 6 Cabling and
Termination Components and related subsystems as part of a Structured Cabling
System.
