Description

In an ongoing effort to ensure the Province’s wildfire facilities/infrastructure are in a constant state of preparedness, services of various trades persons will be required on an “as-needed” basis with no guarantee of work.

These persons include but not limited to carpenters, painters, plumbers, gasfitters, welders, electricians, pile installers, tower riggers, concrete/asphalt finishers, commercial kitchen appliance specialists, generator technicians, pesticide/herbicide applicators, HVAC technicians, wastewater system designers and installers, heavy equipment landscapers, picker/crane/hotshot operators, potable water specialists, outdoor power equipment specialists and warehouse storage systems specialists.

Facilities include but are not limited to air tanker bases, fire bases, fixed detection locations, telecommunications sites, weather stations, staff accommodations, warehouses, etc.

Multiple Contracts will be awarded with services being requested using a call rotation list. This list will be established using the Proposal Evaluation Criteria identified in section 6.3.
