NOTICE OF INVITING BIDS
RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS.
A. Sealed Bids will be received by Leah Mattle at SLVWD, 13060 CA-9, Boulder Creek, California,
95006, Telephone (831) 338-2153 until 3:00PM on FEBRUARY 12TH 2026 for the construction of
the Work entitled:
DWR REDWOOD PARK & ECHO TANK REPLACEMENT
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project includes installation of a two new 120,000 gallon
bolted steel water tanks at two existing tank sites. Redwood Park Tank Site, off Country
Club Drive in Ben Lomond, CA also includes a small retaining wall, an enclosed pump
station, and storm water drainage. Echo Tank Site, off Echo Lane in Boulder Creek, CA
also includes large retaining walls with tie-backs and storm water drainage.
SITE OF WORK: Ben Lomond, CA and Boulder Creek, CA
B. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the place and time stated above. Bidders are invited
to be present.
C. The Owner shall not open any bids received after the time specified above and shall return the
unopened Bids to the Bidder.
SECURING BID DOCUMENTS. Bidders may examine the Contract Documents at 13060 CA-9, Boulder
Creek, California, 95006. The complete project specifications and bidding documents will be available on
the San Lorenzo Valley Water District website at https://www.slvwd.com/doing-business/pages/bid-
opportunities.
PRE-BID MEETING. SLWVD will host a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting at 10:00AM on FRIDAY JANUARY
16th 2026. Interested parties shall meet by 10AM at the SLVWD Conference Room located at 12788
Highway 9, Boulder Creek for discussion with SLVWD staff before being led to the tank sites. Those unable
to make this meeting may schedule a visit by contacting Garret Roffe at groffe@slvwd.com.
CONTRACT TIME. The contract time is hereby established as 300 calendar days. The contract time shall
be consecutive calendar days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. The fixed liquidated damages amount is hereby established as one thousand
dollars ($1,000) for each calendar day of unauthorized delay in completion of the Work.
BONDS. The Bidder to whom the award is made will be required to submit a payment bond and a
performance bond, each in a principal amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total
Contract Price.
