Separate sealed bids for the Howell County Road 2000 Bridge Replacement project, BRO-B046(011), to serve the Howell
County Commission will be received by the Howell County Clerk at the Howell County Courthouse, until 10:00 A.M., on
June 4, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The address of the County is listed above, and located at
35 Court Square, West Plains, MO 65775.
The project shall consist of:
Replace a deficient box culvert with new multi-span concrete box culvert.

Bidders unable to attend the bid opening in person can teleconference by calling the County at (417) 256-3872. Bids must
still be received by the bid date deadline.
The DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) contract goals for the amount of work to be awarded for the Howell County
Road 2000 Bridge Replacement, is 0% of the total project price. The bidder shall also complete the DBE Identification
Submittal forms in accordance with the General Provisions. Missouri Law, 292.675 RSMO, requires any awarded contractor
and its subcontractor(s) to provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety
Program for their on-site employees.
The Owner must award the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, however the owner may reject all bids. All
bidders are required to use the pre-qualification process outlined by MoDOT. See the Missouri Standard Specifications for
Highway Construction, Section 102 for additional information. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the
amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within
60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
The Howell County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into
33 pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds
of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
