Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging Machine with
Refrigerant Cylinder
The City of Laconia Public Works Department is requesting bids for Refrigerant recovery System. The
specified equipment shall meet or exceed the general specifications outlined herein.
The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or any part thereof, to
waive any formality in the process, and to accept the proposal(s) considered to be in the best interest of
the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The
City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. The City reserves the
right to award this contract in whole or in part (individually by building) to one or more contractors.
INFORMATION FOR PROPOSERS
Interested firms are encouraged to submit Two (2) copies of the bids. They should be delivered to the City
of Laconia Purchasing Office, 45 Beacon Street East, Laconia, NH 03246 by 2:30pm 06/13/2026. Postmarks
and other timestamps will not be accepted in lieu of actual delivery to be considered. Submissions must
be labeled "RFB No. 26-05-09B Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging Machine with
Refrigerant Cylinder"
QUESTIONS/ ADDENDUMS
Interested parties are encouraged to submit questions via email; (addresses at the end of this RFP)
however, The City assumes no liability for ensuring accurate and complete email transmission/receipt
and is not responsible to acknowledge receipt. Inquiries must be submitted in writing, citing the RFP title
and number. They must be received no later than Wednesday, July 8, 2026
The City will consider all timely-received questions and requests for change and, if reasonable and
appropriate, will issue an addendum to clarify or modify this RFP. Answers to vendor submitted
questions and other addenda will be posted on the City of Laconia website
www.laconianh.gov/Bids.aspx no later than Friday, July 10, 2026

SCOPE OF WORK
Provide one new Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging Machine suitable for servicing vehicle
air conditioning systems utilizing R1234yf refrigerant.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
A. Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging Machine
• Fully automatic R1234yf recovery, recycling and recharging machine.
• Complete with hoses, couplers, filters, oil injection system, and all standard accessories.
B. Refrigerant Supply
• One (1) 10 lb. cylinder of R1234yf refrigerant.
C. Documentation
• Operator manuals, service manuals, specifications, and warranty information.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
All equipment shall be new, include manufacturer warranties, and be available for prompt delivery.

The successful proposal must include:
1. Two copies of your bid package
2. A not to exceed cost for the unit. Certificate of Compliance unit meets the specifications listed
above.
3. A copy of the manufacturer's brochure and specification sheets with warranty details for the
proposed equipment.
4. Completed and signed documents. To include the General terms and conditions sheet, and a
bid sheet
