Description
Criminal Justice/Behavioral Health Collaboration Program
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking nonprofit organizations to implement a law enforcement and behavioral health program that provides pre-release, co-response, first appearance and/or transitional reentry services to frequently incarcerated individuals in the state of Georgia or can assist in the prevention of individuals being incarcerated and increase engagement into community based behavioral health services. The program is intended to: Enhance collaboration between law enforcement and behavioral health service providers. Co-responder teams.
