NOTICE AND INSTRUCTION TO PROPOSERS

Matanuska Electric Association, Inc. (MEA) is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed attorneys

or law firms to provide comprehensive corporate legal services, with an emphasis on commercial

and regulatory matters.

The RFP and all attachments are available by contacting FormalQuestions@mea.coop

Electronic Proposals are required to be submitted to bids@mea.coop by 4:00pm, AKDT,

Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Any bids received after this date and time will not be considered. Questions or difficulties relating to

the electronic bid submittal process should be directed to FormalQuestions@mea.coop

Questions related to this RFP are due no later than 12:00pm, AKDT, Friday, July 17, 2026.

Questions shall be submitted electronically (email) to FormalQuestions@mea.coop. Please

reference the respective RFP number in your correspondence.

Responses to questions will be provided by 5:00pm, AKDT, Wednesday, July 22, 2026, through

an addendum issued to all interested parties.

MEA reserves the right to define and waive irregularities, to accept or reject any or all

proposals, in whole or part, and to reissue, withdraw or cancel the project or requested services

in its entirety for any reason, including to perform the work in house, without liability of any type

to proposer, including but not limited to any costs associated with proposal preparation and

submittal.
