INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)
WEST STREET SIDEWALK REPAIRS AND INSTALLATIONS
Bids from vendors are due at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 200 Common Street, Room #101, Lawrence, MA 01840 on or before Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 10:00 A.m.
Requests for Bid Specifications will be available to download on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at
www.cityoflawrence.com/bids
.
Bidders must submit a five percent 5% bid deposit with their bid. All bids submitted in response to this Invitation for Bids will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Chapter 149. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute. These contracts are subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates and OSHA Certification.
The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any or all bids or take whatever action is in the best interest of the City.

Bidders must submit all questions concerning this IFB in writing to Theodoro Rosario, Acting City Engineer before 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2026. Bidders must email all questions to trosario@cityoflawrence.com
. The City will email written responses to all bidders of record who received the IFB package. The City of Lawrence has designated one sole point of contact for bidders for this IFB. Any bidder who attempts to contact another City of Lawrence employee or circumvent these procedures in any manner may face disqualification from the procurement process.
