West Riverview Drive Resurfacing

Project Description: The City of Bowling Green, KY is soliciting bids from KYTC pre-qualified contractors for the resurfacing of W. Riverview Drive. The project consists of approximately 670 linear feet of full-width pavement rehabilitation at the locations designated by the City along W. Riverview Drive. Work generally consists of milling approximately 4.5 inches of existing asphalt pavement and replacing it with 3.0 inches of CL2 Asphalt Base 1.00D PG64-22 and 1.5 inches of CL3 Asphalt Surface 0.38D PG76-22. The project also includes traffic control, tack coat application, pavement markings, driveway and side street tie-ins, restoration, and all incidental items required for a complete project.
The project also includes furnishing Wavetronix radar detection equipment (to be installed by others) before mobilization for milling operations. The radar equipment shall be installed, configured, tested, and accepted by KYTC prior to the start of milling.
