Project Description: Cumberland County is seeking a qualified consultant to develop and execute a strategic planning process specifically tailored to county government. Successfully completed, the Cumberland County Strategic Plan will:
• Create a vision and mission statement that succinctly describe the county’s future aspirations and purpose in serving its residents. • Develop core values that guide execution of the county’s public service mandate.
• Integrate the county’s vision, mission, and core values into departmental administrative and operational plans. • Identify priority services and accompanying innovative delivery methods that focus investment of staff and financial resources. • Evaluate the interrelationships of county services to identify early intervention solutions that save time, money, and more efficiently serve customer needs. • Engage county stakeholders to identify priority service areas and more efficient methods of to provide services.
