Accounting Advisory Services - IFRS 18 Implementation

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”), together with any addendums expressly referred to or incorporated by reference, is an invitation by Workers’ Compensation Board (“WCB”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Accounting Advisory Services - IFRS 18 Implementation.

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are a collection of standards governing financial reporting for entities that adopt them. WCB has adopted IFRS for the preparation and presentation of its financial statements. These standards are periodically revised and updated. IFRS 18 is a new accounting standard that will be effective for annual reporting periods beginning January 1, 2027, and replaces International Accounting Standard (IAS 1). This update has the potential to result in significant changes to preparation and presentation of WCB’s financial statements. The WCB is seeking assistance with the adoption of IFRS 18.
