Addictions Counselling and Programming Services
Synopsis:
GOS, on behalf of Ministry of Community Safety (CS), is seeking information from the industry on potential Addictions Programming options – with an Indigenous and trauma-informed focus at Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre (WPTC).
Ministry of Community Safety welcomes responses from a broad range of entities with relevant experience, including non-profit organizations, Indigenous led service providers, First Nations, Tribal Councils, community-based organizations and other qualified proponents capable of delivering addictions programming within a correctional environment.
Additional Information:
Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre (WPTC) is interested in potentially expanding its offering of addictions programming for offenders in the facility to aid in addressing risk of reoffending and release planning. This program offering would not be provided to the entire facility but rather on a designated unit of approximately 10-12 offenders with varying lengths of sentences (approximately one - six months).
The information provided in this RFI may support CS in preparation for future competition.
