Project Description: The Broward Legislative Delegation Office (“the Delegation”) seeks proposals from attorneys to serve as the Delegation’s counsel pursuant to our Rules and Regulations. Applicants must have at least fifteen (15) years as an attorney, including comprehensive expertise and experience in Florida Constitutional Law as well as Comprehensive expertise and experience in Florida Local Government Law and in the workings of the Florida Legislature. Applicant/Candidate should reside in Broward County and/or work primarily in Broward County.
Each proposal must demonstrate with specificity how the applicant meets these criteria. For proposals submitted by law firms, all attorneys within the firm who may provide services to the Delegation must be identified.
Proposals must be submitted to the Delegation office electronically to Bob Mayersohn, Executive Director, at Rmayersohn@broward.org with the subject line “Response to Attorney RFP” or hard copy to Broward Legislative Delegation, 115 South Andrews Ave, Room 429, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.
The deadline for proposals is Friday, October 23, 2026. Electronic or hard copy, submissions must be received no later than close of business (5pm) of the deadline date.
The selected attorney(s) will be required to enter a contract with the Delegation office. Among other terms, this contract will provide that no reimbursement will be made for payments by retained counsel to third-party legal research providers.
