This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, to conduct market research and identify capable sources for providing for a Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine, Closed Loop Wastewater Treatment System, and Manual Mobile Separation Unit.

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement addressing their capabilities, capacity, place of manufacture, and location which shall be considered by the agency.  Responses are voluntary and will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. This notice is posted as UNRESTRICTED and is intended to gauge the entire marketplace.

All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information:

Capability statement addressing ALL salient characteristics

Place of manufacture for all supplied equipment
Identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates the firm s ability to meet the above requirement

Evidence of previous installations or relevant experience
Estimated delivery timeframe
Any proprietary component constraints

Specific Tasks
Development of polishing recipes for multiple polymer and metal parts including media and rinse compounds, polishing process parameters. (rpm, duration, dosing, etc.)
One day onsite installation of equipment
One year parts manufacture warranty

Centrifugal pump which circulates effluent creating a high velocity mixing action and treatment flocculent powder. Treated water drained and pumped back to disk finisher.
Filter paper roll which filters out precipitated material from effluent.

Centrifuge separator system to quickly reduce sludge volume and water content.
