BID - NOA- Surplus Land Sale and Affordable Housing Development

San Joaquin County invites qualified Low-Income Housing Developers to submit offers to purchase and develop or lease and develop approximately four (4) acres of County-owned surplus land adjacent to Gianone Park in Stockton, California (the “Project Site”). The County seeks offers that deliver deed-restricted affordable housing consistent with local and State housing goals. Developers may offer to either purchase or lease the property from the County, subject to negotiation and Board of Supervisors approval. Offers should clearly outline the preferred approach—purchase or long-term ground lease—and demonstrate how the proposed structure will best support the financial feasibility and long-term affordability of the project Nothing in this NOA creates any obligation, expressed or implied, for the County to award a contract or convey the property. Any award is subject to approval by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.
