Cleaning Services for Seven Venues Events

The City of Norfolk (the “City”) is soliciting proposals from qualified custodial services firms to enter into a contract to provide quality, professional custodial and housekeeping services at the Scope Arena, Chrysler Hall, Attucks Theater and Harrison Opera House. The Contractor will be responsible for providing before and after event custodial services at all required facilities following hockey games, special events, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament (MEAC), Broadway shows and other various activities or events.

The appearance of City facilities is a major factor on the attitude and morale of tenants and visitors. The custodial services program must maintain City facilities in a manner that not only appears clean and polished, but also provides a clean, healthy atmosphere, and an excellent working environment for City employees, entertainment acts, event ticket holders, and citizens.

The City will award one (1) contract to the firm deemed best qualified to meet the needs of the City. Firms must be properly licensed and/or registered to provide the requested services in the State of Virginia and possess the necessary skills, capacity, and responsiveness to perform the work. Offerors shall provide a proposal for the provision of services as described in the Scope of Work.
