City Park Bath House Management

The City of Pueblo (the “City”) invites qualified individuals, organizations, or entities (“Proposers”) to submit proposals for new uses for the existing bath house facility located in City Park. Proposals will include ideas for new facility uses and functions that would benefit broad cross sections of the Pueblo community by addressing required facility renovations, building functions, operations, maintenance, repair, and day-to-day management aspects. The selected offeror will be afforded the opportunity to enter into a lease with the City for use of the building, oversee necessary renovations, and manage the proposed operations in a manner that aligns with the vision of creating a community-oriented space.

The bath house facility in City Park was built during the WPA era and has served various functions over the decades. Recent discussions regarding its preservation versus demolition culminated in the City Council’s decision not to proceed with replacing the building. Community groups have proposed converting the use of the facility for other purposes supporting the Pueblo community.
