The requirement is to provide works of art for the new Consulate in Casablanca. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is $110,800 for six works of art from 3 different artists. These supplies/services require that L’Atelier 21 Art Gallery provide four paintings by Najia Mehadji, each 200cm x 200cm at $15,975 each, one painting by Safaa Erruas 120 x 230 cm, at $21,600, and one sculpture by Ikram Kabbaj, 112 x 70x25cm at $24,300. In addition, there is $1000 for shipping/delivery costs. To allow the Office of Art in Embassies to accomplish its mission of cultural exchange within the Department of State mission, only specific works of art can be procured for their specific style, cultural relevance, medium, and scale as these works are part of the mission to highlight US artists. These artists were chosen by the Office of Art in Embassies Curatorial Committee. L’Atelier 21 Art Gallery will provide the total of six artworks, based on design and creation details approved by OBO/ART.
