Project Description: Louisville Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop a freight mobility action plan for Louisville/Jefferson County.
For years, neighborhood leaders and local elected officials have raised concerns about the impact of large freight trucks on the livability and safety of nearby residential neighborhoods. Under existing conditions, large trucks often travel through residential areas that negatively impact safety, livability, and neighborhood scale economic development.
