AGCS - State Road - Envelope Repairs

Project Description: The Avon Grove Charter School will receive sealed electronic Bids for the State Road – Envelope Repairs Project. Bids will be received by the Avon Grove Charter School, via PennBid until 2:30 p.m. January 30, 2025. All received proposals will be publicly opened and read at Avon Grove Charter School, 110 E State Road, West Grove, PA 19390 at 3:00 pm on January 24, 2025. Notice is hereby given that the Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, 43 P.S. 165-1 et seq., and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to each Project as promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry
A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference for ALL contracts will be held December 11, 2024, at 3:30 pm– State Road Campus – 110 E State Road, West Grove, PA 19390 for the purpose of reviewing the project. A supervised tour of the site will be conducted immediately after the Pre-Bid meeting. Unescorted inspections are not permitted.
Bona-fide Prime Bidders shall register on pennbid.net. Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). Documents will be available December 5, 2025.
The General Trades contract includes, but is not limited to, roof drainage and miscellaneous roof repairs, façade repairs, window lintel flashing rehabilitation, and localized masonry repair.
A satisfactory corporate surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid together with the aggregate sum of all additive alternates.
All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions or informalities relative thereto.
