Ultrafine hemp fiber processing services

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of ultrafine hemp fiber processing services from Warm Springs CP as a sole source because of the uniqueness (design, capability, nature) of the services and the contractor being the single provider of the services. Contractor must have access to ultrafine processing equipment, expertise to separate plant/hemp fiber from resins and essential oils and process fiber to a succulent quality for integration into composite boards and facilities and expertise to integrate processed hemp fiber (1-3%) into fire-retardant composite boards. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
