FCI Otisville Special Notice- Justification for other than ful and open competition- Landfill Services

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304c)(1)- FAR 6.302-1(b)(2)- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to COUNTY OF ORANGE. The scope of the requirement is to dump the institutional waste at the Orange County Landfill. Orange County Landfill is the only landfill withing a 60 mile radius. The requirement will be awarded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and implemented at FCI Otisville. The NAICS code for this requirement is 562212. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. A request for Quote (RFQ) will not be available for this requirement.
