Requirement

The Department of Construction Research Center (CRC) of the National Research Council Canada has a requirement to develop regionalized life cycle assessment (LCA) reports and life cycle inventory (LCI) datasets for polyisocyanurate insulation products utilized in Canada. We aim to rely on generic upstream materials and energy data in order to ensure that Industry-Wide (Generic) Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) represent standard practices and products.

Note to Suppliers

An ACAN will be posted on CanadaBuys.gc.ca for a period of 15 days, allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

Statement of Capabilities

Suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the goods, services or construction services described in the ACAN may submit a statement of capabilities in writing to the contact person identified in this notice on or before the closing date of this notice. The statement of capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the supplier meets the advertised requirements.

Inquiries

To ensure a response before the ACAN closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least five (5) calendar days prior to the ACAN closing date.
