The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity – Healthcare Contracting Division - Central intends to award a sole source requirement for reagents and consumables on two ImmunoCAP 1000 System Analyzers with service and maintenance provided at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC) located at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, to Phadia US, Inc. (Cage Code: 1QNW5 ) located at 4169 Commercial Ave, Portage, MI 49002 under the authority of FAR Part 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; the business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6550 – In Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets.
This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit the information listed below, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. The Government is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Notice. A determination by the Government to continue with a sole source action, or to issue a competitive solicitation, will be made based on any responses received to this notice, and will be made solely at the Government’s discretion.
