PLATE RECOGNITION SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

The Town of Yarmouth, acting through its Town Administrator, invites sealed proposals from qualified professional firms for:

Plate Recognition System Installation and Maintenance

in accordance with the specifications set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents.

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, Section 6, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of this Act. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B Section 5(f). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request.

The RFP documents will be available beginning November 20, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., on the Town of Yarmouth website, Doing Business page: https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx

Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes labeled: "Technical Proposal" and "Price Proposal." Both envelopes must be received by 3:00 p.m. (Local Time) on December 5, 2025, at the Office of the Town Administrator, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. Proposals will be opened in private in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B, § 6. The list of proposers will be made available after the submission deadline. The Town anticipates awarding the contract within 90 days of the proposal deadline.

The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to cancel this RFP or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, if cancellation or rejection is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
