Jack O Lantern Jubilee Weather Insurance

The City of North Augusta is requesting quotes from qualified licensed insurance brokers and underwriting firms to provide rain and adverse weather insurance coverage for the annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee on October 23 & 24, 2026 at:

North Augusta, SC 29841

The policy must provide parametric or financial loss coverage protecting against adverse weather conditions (specifically cumulative rainfall and/or severe weather interruptions) measured at an official local NOAA reporting station (e.g., Augusta Daniel Field - KDNL) or onsite.

Required Coverage Tiers & Windows:

• Option A — Friday, October 23, 2026 (5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.):

  • Quote Tier 1: $50,000 limit of liability

  • Quote Tier 2: $75,000 limit of liability

• Option B — Saturday, October 24, 2026 (5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.):

  • Quote Tier 1: $75,000 limit of liability

Vendors must provide itemized quote options for each coverage window and indemnity limit based on standard rainfall trigger thresholds (e.g., 0.10", 0.25", or 0.50" cumulative rainfall).
