Traffic Signal Construction
Synopsis:

Submissions marked "COR25-00150 – 2026 Traffic Control Construction" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Thursday February 05, 2026.

The City is seeking a qualified contractor capable of constructing Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Corridors at various intersections throughout the City. This work will improve safety, support growing neighbourhoods, and address aging infrastructure that requires renewal. The contract is expected to have 9 locations: 3 Traffic Signals, 5 Pedestrian Corridors, and potentially 1 additional separate price traffic signal location.

The scope of work may include the following, but is not limited to:

  • Install traffic signal pole bases and vertical base extensions
  • Install traffic signal poles
  • Install and wire traffic signal heads and pedestrian push buttons
  • Install, program, and bench test traffic signal cabinets
  • Install traffic signal communication equipment
  • Install junction boxes and underground conduit, among other things

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

There will be a video conference pre-submission meeting using Microsoft Teams regarding this competition on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM CST (SK) for any interested proponents. Please email the RFP Contact set out in section 1.2 of the RFP to request an invitation to the online meeting by Friday, January 16, 2026, 04:00 PM CST (SK).
