Description
Membrane Treatment description: Construction of a potable water treatment facility in the MD of Spirit river will be undertaken in 2025/2026. The purpose of this request for proposals is to determine the most suitable treatment equipment and equipment supplier for this application.
At such time as the project proceeds to the construction stage, equipment would be purchased by the general contractor which is contracted by Saddle Hills County through a competitive tendering process.
The proposed water treatment system will include installation of a microfiltration membrane system downstream of a new conventional water treatment process (flocculation, sedimentation) that is expected to be utilized as pre-treatment in advance of the proposed microfiltration membrane.
The scope of this pre-selection is comprised of the water treatment membrane process package as provided in Terms of Reference document.
