1. The work shall commence by installing erosion and sediment controls in accordance with the contract plans and specifications and the erosion and sediment control permit issued for this project.
2. Clearing and grubbing of vegetation and other site preparation will be performed as needed to facilitate construction.
3. The existing aluminum awning will be removed and disposed of off-site.
4. If needed, a temporary access road will be installed to facilitate the construction of the retaining wall and drainage piping.
5. The primary work involves the furnishment and installation of a concrete block retaining wall with a poured concrete footer and installing piping for a subdrain and a concrete inlet with a single grate.
6. Upon completion of earthwork, all disturbed areas will be limed, fertilized, seeded, and mulched after final grading of topsoil.
