Summary

The City of Tucson seeks to solicit proposals from qualified vendors provide background music and hold music for its phone line services. This service may be utilized by the City of Tucson's Environmental Services Division (ESD), Tucson Water Division (TW), Planning and Development Services (PDSD), among numerous other departments who may wish to utilize. The hold music will be played when individuals call the agency’s customer service or main telephone lines and are placed on hold. The music must be appropriate, professional, engaging, and of high quality to ensure a positive caller experience.

The objective is to secure a vendor capable of providing high-quality background hold music, along with appropriate technical support and ongoing music management services. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring the music is regularly updated, adheres to required standards, and is fully compatible with the agency's phone system.

Background

The purpose, or intent, of this solicitation is to find vendors capable of, though not be limited to, the following:

  • providing background hold music that enhances the caller’s experience while maintaining a professional and non-distracting atmosphere,
  • ensuring that the music is appropriate for a diverse public audience and aligns with the agency’s reputation as a government entity,
  • maintaining a seamless audio experience for callers, ensuring the quality of the music is clear and consistent across all devices and phone systems, and
  • to provide a process for regularly updating and customizing music to suit evolving preferences and needs.
