Description

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), on behalf of Personnel Vetting Initial Vetting Operations Component, intends to award a sole source bridge contract to ASRC Federal Professional Services, LLC. This bridge contract will provide uninterrupted Case Processing Operations Center (CPOC) support services to Initial Vetting Operations for mission critical functions necessary for the processing of background investigations for the Personnel Vetting mission needs.

ASRC Federal Professional Services LLC is the selected contractor for the bridge contract, as they are the incumbent contractor. They possess the necessary expertise and knowledge to ensure turnkey operations and continuity of services which shall result in little to no disruption to the background investigation mission. This bridge contract will serve as a temporary measure only in order to maintain uninterrupted support until the competitive follow-on contract can be awarded. The bridge contract will provide a seamless transition and maintain the current level of services, thereby ensuring that Initial Vetting Operations’ mission and timelines are not impacted. The sole source award to ASRC Federal Professional Services, LLC is a necessary step to prevent a lapse in critical services and to ensure that the program's momentum is maintained until a long-term, competitively awarded contract can be put in place.
