NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - AUDIO VIDEO SERVICES

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Management (EM) Consolidated Business Center (CBC), intends to award a contract to Hanson Audio Visual, LLC. (Hanson) on a sole source basis. The services provided by Hanson support the EMCBC office by their understanding and knowledge of existing audio visual equipment and the capacity to repurpose existing equipment for continued use in the upgraded system.

The authority permitting this sole source acquisition without full and open competition is prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The DOE/EMCBC will procure the services of an audio visual company with the knowledge and capacity to incorporate existing systems into the required upgrade and hardening.
