Shimadzu Total Organic Carbon Analyzer - Scope of Services for 2026-2027
The City has a need for annual service and preventative maintenance services for the following system:

Vendor will provide Service equivalent to Extended Warranty Plus, offered by Shimadzu Scientific
Instruments, Inc., which includes:
* A combination of one scheduled Premium PM visit and Extended Warranty Coverage per service
agreement year.
* Premium PM visit will be scheduled separately or performed during any other service visit.
o Premium PM visit will include necessary cleaning, adjustments, verification, lubrication,
and parts replacement. Labor is included in the Premium PM visit at no additional cost
to the City.
* Extended Warranty Coverage includes all labor and parts (excluding consumables) necessary to
restore the instrument to operating specifications.
o A travel charge will be added to the contract to cover travel costs.
o The vendor has the option to:
Provide on-site repair service
Repair the product at a service center
Provide necessary replacement parts with installation instructions and/or phone
support.
Coverage Exclusions:
* The service under this agreement will not include repairs related to adverse environmental
conditions, services necessitated by neglect, contamination by external sources, misuse,
improper operation or maintenance.
* Work necessitated by damage from accident, fire, water, vandalism, electrical power failure, or
any other casualty is not covered.
Coverage period: 10/16/2026 to 10/15/2027.
