Project Description: The LVPC, on behalf of the seven municipalities participating in the Plan Slate Belt multi-municipal coordinated zoning effort, is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to coordinate and implement zoning ordinance updates and create and/or update official maps. These updates will be aligned with the recently completed Slate Belt Multi-Municipal Comprehensive Plan. The selected consultant will work with municipal representatives, the Implementation Committee, and the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) to ensure local zoning ordinances and official maps reflect the regional land use, environmental, housing, infrastructure, and economic development goals.
