Stony Brook University intends to purchase the Clinical Key subscription for online access to the full catalog of resources provided by Elsevier or equal. This is pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes purchase of commodities, subscriptions from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. If an equivalent is offered, equivalency must be demonstrated by being compatible with existing equipment. If offering an equivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting documentation and product for examination, demonstration, and trial.

Contractor might be required to complete and submit documents related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139 j&k, NYS Tax Law Section 5-A, valid and current NYS Workman's Compensation and Disability Forms.
