Project Description: Started in 2020, the City’s Food Waste Drop-Off Program offers locations to divert food waste from landfills and turn it into compost. This program is part of the larger Westerville Zero Waste Plan, which aims to reduce materials sent to landfills by 80% by 2032 and aspires to reach 90% by 2040. The work in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications, dated October 2, 2025, and any addenda thereto, is intended to provide for the continuation of the program. It largely involves furnishing all collection bins and equipment, as well as providing weekly collection, transportation, and delivery to a certified composting facility in Ohio.
